ELEKSYON 2025

Life Lessons @50

This month, I am turning 50!

A friend told me to come up with 50 Lessons in life. I tried, but I can barely write 10.

But seriously, my MPKK is the sum of things I learned in my 50 years of existence. I go back to what these 4 letters remind me of. It carries the first letter of the names in the family; Mike, Perla, Kyle, and Kyla,  it reminds me of what I really value in this world; my FAMILY. Also, it is my framework for living a life of meaning and purpose. There are four (4) things I deem essential. Mission, Principle, Kindness, Kneel (Humility).

Lesson 1. My greatest contribution to this world is my Family. I can’t change the world. not even the Justice League or Avengers can, but I can do something within the corners of our Home. I can make it an abode where Faith, Love, and Respect are lived. And then hope that it would make an impact on society.

Lesson 2. A defined mission in life can make all the difference. Always beginning with the end in mind. Along the way, challenges and tempatations may come, but Principles keep us intact.

Lesson 3. There are a lot of ways to reach holiness. I have 2, Kindness and Humility. We can never go wrong with acts of Kindness. Humility as I always say, brings us back to the ground, away from pride, titles, and wordly achievements. Embracing only what is essential – goodness.

Lesson 4. Life is made up of choices and circumstances. Many times we need to make choices for circumstances to open. Sometimes circumstances come and challenge us to make choices. In whatever event, our choices and the circumstances that come defines the kind of life we live in this world. Make better CHOICES, and hope for better CIRCUMSTANCES.

Lesson 5. As I gain age, the more that I am resolved to lessen life’s drama..to move away from comparison..to be at peace to who and where I am.. I am doing well with my own race!

CHEERS to the next 50 Years!!!

I Choose to be Good

The end in mind of MPKK is simply to be “GOOD”

Mission reminds us of our Purpose – it should be one that brings goodness.

Principles are guardrails that make sure we never move away from goodness.

Kindness is the fruit of love and charity – a sure way of sowing goodness.

Kneel (humility) brings us back to the ground, away from pride, titles, and achievements – embracing only the essentials – goodness.

I am MPKK – I choose to be GOOD.
